Description

The Rosemount™ 8800 MultiVariable Vortex Flow Meters combines flow and temperature measurement in a single, highly accurate instrument, eliminating the cost and complexity of installing multiple devices. The integrated, removable temperature sensor provides precise process temperature measurement while remaining isolated from the process and independent of the vortex flow sensor.

When connected to an external HART® pressure transmitter, the Rosemount 8800 also delivers temperature and pressure compensation, enabling compensated mass flow and corrected volumetric flow measurements for steam and liquid applications.
Designed for saturated steam, superheated steam, and liquid services, the Rosemount 8800 provides real-time flow compensation using temperature and pressure data. This helps improve process control, increase measurement reliability, enhance operational efficiency, and reduce safety risks.
